The property, which we regretably need to sell due to health problems, is situated 2.5 kms from 2 good communes: St Hilaire des Loges to the West and Coulonges sur l'Autize to the East. The property was once a farm and is surrounded by fields.

The land on which the property sits is approximately 2000 sq mtrs. The property although not strictly detached, has the feel of being detached as it is only connected to the neighbouring property by an empty tiny cottage and two workshop / barns. It is situated at the head of a small lane, which becomes private property in front of the house. Thus the gardens are very secluded and quiet. There is small separate area of garden at the rear of the gite, which has been set aside for guest use, in addition to a large are of garden behind the main house, planted with established fruit trees.

Although the property has been operated as a B&B and gite until recently, and is fully equipped such that new owners would be able to commence business almost immediately if desired, the house would equally suit as a private residence for a large family, or as a project for further expansion: There are three undeveloped attic rooms which all have plenty of height; a further ground floor room of about 25sq mtrs which is currently also undeveloped (earth floor still!).
